Program Description
Course Information and Duration
For Chinese language courses, applicants can choose to study for one semester or one year. Each semester is about 16-18 weeks long.
Chinese language courses are divided into three levels: elementary, intermediate and advanced. Each level is subdivided into 2-3 sub-level classes. Students need to take placement test (written test and oral test) to decide which level of class they will be in. Each student is sure to find a class suitable for him or her at Tianjin Foreign Studies University.

For Spring semester, applicants shall submit a clear scanned copy of the passport that will not expire on or before April 1, 2024, and November 1, 2024 for Autumn Semester.

For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit.
